Vinyasa yoga is a discipline that utilizes postures and breathing techniques. These movements are linked together to give a balanced experience physically, mentally and spiritually. The breath acts as an anchor to the movement as you flow from one pose to the next linking each movement with an inhale and exhale. In my class expect to be challenged as we sweat and laugh from one posture into the next.

Vinyasa can be translated as arranging something in a special way, it has both physical and mental benefits. Physically, sweat releases toxins and re-energizes our bodies. Mentally, the synchronized breathing relaxes the chatter of the mind and helps to release any blockage of energy flow throughout our bodies.
